⟢ Project Overview

Vertext3D is an AI text/image to 3D generator created as part of an AI/ App integration hackathon held by Canva. For the first function, users can enter a text prompt to generate 3D objects in .obj, .ply, png, or gif and export in into their favorite 3D software (e.g. Blender). For the second function, users can upload a flat image to generate a 3d version in .jpg, .jpeg, png.

Question

How might we help people with little to no experience easily create 3D models and images for their work, projects or personal use?

To address this, Vertext 3D was created with the intention of being accessible and intuitive.

People of varying technical experience may create a editable model straight from the text prompt or 3dify their image with the image upload feature.
